Pictured above is Bob Hill age 81 from Stockport with the Personal Best Plaice he caught which weighed in at 5Ib 12oz. Bob was using 12Ib class tackle with a short trace that had a silver spoon and several coloured attractor beads. With the successful bait being ragworm, black lugworm and a strip of Ammo calamari squid.
Mark Laker landed a Personal Best Plaice weighing 6Ib 2oz. Mark was using 8Ib class tackle with a two hook flatty trace with lots of coloured attractor beads on. The successful bait was ragworm tipped with a strip of Ammo squid.
August 2013 – Trevor Cozens from Peterborough was over the moon when he landed his Personal Best Undulate Ray weighing 18Ib.The ray put up a good fight on Trevor’s 20Ib class tackle. The successful bait was Ammo squid and mackerel cocktail. The big Undulate was released alive. Trevor’s 18Ib Undulate is now the best specimen in the Flamer IV Specimen Species League.
