March highlights from Weymouth and Flamer IV

Kevin Pyle from Rickmansworth landed a personal best Pollack of 14Ib while drifting a wreck aboard Flamer IV .Kevin was using a 15Ib class Shakespeare Ugly Stick rod with a flying collar rig and a black red gill lure.

Rob Shattock from Southampton landed a 4Ib 8oz Brill while drift fishing. Rob was using 10Ib class tackle and the successful bait was a strip of Ammo mackerel. Rob also caught a Turbot which he returned alive. Rob is pictured with his Brill catch!

John Bellamy from Southampton is pictured with a 3Ib 8oz Plaice. John was using 8Ib class tackle with a trace that had lots green and black beads on and silver blades. The successful bait was ragworm and a strip of Ammo squid. John was pleased to land this Plaice as he lost a bigger one earlier. John also caught a Turbot which he returned alive.

Finally Paul Roper is pictured with the 3Ib Plaice he caught. Paul was using 10Ib class tackle with a trace that had lots of coloured attractor beads on and a wobbly spoon. The successful bait was ragworm, prawn and a strip of Ammo squid.
