Just Brill?…Weymouth is not just about the Olympic sailing…..


Rick Hawkins (above) from Dorset landed his personal best plaice weighing 7lb while drift fishing aboard Flamer IV. Rick a regular angler on Flamer was over the moon with his big plaice catch. Rick was using 8lb class tackle with a short trace that had lots of attractor beads on and a small silver blade. The successful bait was ragworm and a strip of ammo squid.

Tim Norman (above) from Taunton landed his first ever brill weighing 8lb while drift fishing aboard Flamer. Tim was using 10ib class tackle and the successful bait was mackerel strip.
