Mark Cook (above) from Beer,Devon started the run with a 5lb plaice. Mark was using 8lb class tackle and the successful bait was ragworm, Ammo black lugworm and squid strip.
Les Whiteman (above) then landed a 5lb 14oz fish. Les was using 10lb class tackle and the successful bait was again ragworm, Ammo black lug and squid strip.
Ross Weaver on his first ever trip aboard Flamer landed a personal best plaice weighing 6lb 2oz. Ross was using 15lb class tackle, a single hook flatty trace with lots of attractor beads and the consistent mix of ragworm, Ammo black lug and squid strip
Next up was Rob Burgin (above) who landed a 6lb 12oz fish. Rob was using 10ib class tackle with a two hook flatty trace, lots of attractor beads and a small spoon baited with the usual. He also landed a 5lb plaice on the same trip.
Finally Luke Bickford (below) landed his first ever plaice which weighed a whopping 7lb 8oz the second biggest ever caught on Flamer. Luke was using 10lb class tackle with a single hook flatty trace with attractor beads. Do we need to ask what the successful bait was? No you will have guessed it from reading the above captures!
