Summertime For Big Pollack Over The Wrecks

With the summer season almost here (try telling that to the weatherman!) the wreck fishing off Weymouth has started to produce some fine Pollack. Stuart Summerson a member of the Tonbridge Tanglers SAC landed a 16Ib Pollack while drifting over one such wreck aboard Flamer IV. Stuart was using 15Ib class tackle with a flying collar rig and a Rhubarb and Custard sidewinder lure.

This fish was closely followed by Stephen Bishop landing a personal best Pollack weighing 17Ib whilst also drifting a wreck. Stephen was using a 12/20 Ib class rod with a flying collar rig and again a Rhubarb and Custard sidewinder lure.
