Looking at the overnight catches our boys are still waiting for their first fish. They are not alone in that the fish appear to be really concentrated in small areas.
The German team across the lake from Rob and Stewart now have a comfortable lead following the disqualification of the Romanian team in section PVTV Peg 16. The update video from Bivvy TV explains the reasons behind the DQ.
What now for our boys?
They changed tactics yesterday in the hope of creating a reaction from the fish. Whether this has had an effect of not I am sure we will find out later today.
Of the UK teams fishing the competition Dan Moorcroft and Colin Grey (Section Ultima Peg 02) are in the shake-up with 6 fish so far. All of their fish have been from 12kg to 17kg so one really good fish would see them right in the mix.
Biggest fish so far weighed in at 24kg and was caught by Peter Simonic from the Czech Republic in Section Ultima Peg 12.
There have also been a couple of 23kg fish come out.
