Tuna & Spice and all things fishey
I order my first lot of Tuna & Spice boilies in 12mm & 16mm and received the order within a couple of days. My first impression of this bait is that it smells great. The dip that came with the order smells just like the boilies.
I always like to cut a couple of boilies in half just to see their constancy in the middle. If you are very careful you can scrape out the middle and
leave the outer shell, which gives you a good idea of the makeup of the bait.
These are very nice, in the middle its crumbly with a
outer skin that is not too thick, in my book that suits me fine. I don’t like bait that is too hard, if you need you can always put them in a dip to harden some up.
I have placed a handful of bait in the dip to soak & harden up a bit over the next few weeks.
As for the fishing, after the poor start on the river with the water level
way too high (after all this rain) and the water so cloudy you could not
see below a foot. With this bait looking and smelling so fantastic, I just
have to give it a go on one my local club’s waters. Lets hope the next blog
has some fishy photos!
Thats all for now
Richard
